What sport are you competing in right now? Long distance triathlon
How did you get into your sport? My parents introduced me to endurance sports through family ski and bike excursions. I discovered competition with my small-town swim team and, later, my high school cross country team. I began dabbling in triathlon as a teen without any intention of it eventually becoming my career!

Race you are most proud of: Winning my IRONMAN debut and setting a course record at Mont Tremblant in 2019!
Favourite quote: "La lutte elle-même vers les sommets suffit à remplir un cœur d'homme."
What keeps you motivated on hard training days? I tend to struggle more with resting than pushing myself. My little tortie cat is the best role model when it comes to rest and relaxation.
What's your favourite hobby when you aren't training? I always have a renovation project on the go with my century home.
What did you learn this past year? I gained confidence in pursuing what truly makes me happy as opposed to others' ideas of success. I also realized that I have so much unfinished business in triathlon.
What are you looking forward to most next year? It may sound lame, but I'm so eager to get back to a consistent training routine and race schedule after a couple years of unpredictable challenges.
