Paracanoe & Parakayak
Brianna Hennessy is a seasoned multi-sport athlete. Prior to her injury SCI in 2014, she competed in multiple sports at the provincial & national level in able body rugby, ice hockey, ball hockey & as a provincial champion in boxing.
In parasport, she has only added to her accolades, when she became a paracanoe silver, & parakayak bronze at World Championss in both 2022 & 2023. With a total of 9 ICF World medals, after the 2023 season, she has already qualified a quota spot for 🇨🇦 for the Paris Paralympics in 2024.
She also expanded her international resume, by representing Canada’s first ever all women’s team, at the Women’s World Cup in wheelchair rugby bringing home a bronze in 2023. She is also the only female international import, for the 3rd season in a row, for the Tampa Warriors, in the US wheelchair rugby league which has 44 teams.
Gruppo has fuelled her journey for the past 5 years, and has been an integral part helping her excel with her performance, recovery, and growth in her sports.
